Love is built on trust, patience<\/a>, and the grace to forgive our human flaws. We are all perfectly imperfect, wonderfully unique, and it\u2019s essential to accept others in their entirety\u2014even when disagreements or battles of ego arise.<\/p>\n

The next time you find yourself in conflict, connect with your inner child and try playing the \u201copposite\u2019s game.\u201d Look at the situation through rose-tinted glasses and offer the benefit of the doubt: \u201cIf this person loves me, they\u2019re not trying to hurt me. If they\u2019re causing me pain, it\u2019s because they\u2019re in pain themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Try to see the situation with compassion and understanding. Imagine encountering a child in pain on the street\u2014how would you comfort them? What would you say to make them feel safe?<\/p>\n

We often react from a place of fear<\/a> or love, and the antidote to fear is always love. We\u2019re quick to judge when someone doesn\u2019t act as we\u2019d like, but it\u2019s important to remember that their behavior is their choice. You have the power to decide how you respond, whether to engage or step away.<\/p>\n
